Stronger Communities Programme
Expressions of Interest for Round 4 of the Stronger Communities Programme are now open from August 6 – August 21.
Our electorate will receive $150,000 in Federal Government funding under the Stronger Communities Programme. Up to 20 projects can be funded, across Maranoa, ranging from $2500 to $20,000.
Projects must deliver social benefits to your community. We’re looking to fund small capital projects, which can range from upgrading the local community hall, installing lights at the football field, building playgrounds at parks or providing essential equipment for the local SES – just as examples.
Our bush communities are the heart of this country and I want to make sure we do well from this funding; I can’t wait to see what projects are put forward to help strengthen our rural communities.
No more than 50% of the total eligible project cost can be funded through this grant. The remaining share of the project cost can be sourced from local and state government funding; or cash or in-kind support.
If the Stronger Communities Programme would help you out, and your project will provide social benefits to your community then please visit my website to download, and complete the Expression of Interest form and make sure your submission is lodged with my office before 5pm, August 21.
If you need more information, or have questions about the Stronger Communities Programme, my team of staff will be more than happy to assist, please phone 07 4662 2715.
