Leader of The Nationals David Littleproud has congratulated Paul Toole and Bronnie Taylor on their re-election as New South Wales Nationals leader and deputy leader, respectively.
Mr. Littleproud said the reappointment of Mr. Toole and Ms. Taylor was well deserved, following The Nationals’ incredibly strong result at the NSW election.
“Mr. Toole has always truly valued regional, rural and remote NSW, putting regional towns first and fighting hard to make positive changes,” Mr. Littleproud said.
“I admire Mr. Toole for his authenticity, relatability, gratitude and humbleness. He has all the qualities of a great leader and brings common sense to Sydney.
“I know Mr. Toole will continue to work tirelessly to stand up for people in the bush.
“I look forward to continuing to work with Mr. Toole and I am glad he has been rewarded for a fantastic election result. There is no better person to lead the NSW Nationals team.”
Mr. Littleproud added he was thrilled Bronnie Taylor was also returning as NSW Nationals deputy leader.
“Ms. Taylor is a tremendous asset to our party and an advocate and champion of rural health and rural services. There is no doubt her re-election as NSW deputy is a great decision for our party.
“The Nationals are determined to help ease the cost-of-living crisis that all NSW families are facing, even in Opposition.
“I have every confidence The Nationals have the best possible leader and deputy with the best possible team, for the best possible solutions for regional, rural and remote NSW.”
