Regional communities deserve a genuine say about major energy projects being built in their backyard.

I’m calling for stronger protections for communities impacted by wind farm developments, including a minimum 3km buffer from property boundaries, a decommissioning bond or bank guarantee to protect landholders and communities into the future, and truly independent acoustic testing.

These communities shouldn’t be ignored while decisions that could affect them for generations are made elsewhere.
