CONGRATULATIONS TO MARANOA LOCAL REBECCA BRADSHAW FOR PROUDLY SUPPORTING OUTBACK AUSTRALIA

The Leader of The Nationals and Member for Maranoa David Littleproud has congratulated Maranoa local Rebecca Bradshaw for becoming the Queensland state finalist for the 2022 AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award.

Rebecca Bradshaw launched her online telehealth platform in 2021, Rural Child Health which is designed to give outback parents the support and education system they need to raise their families.

Mr Littleproud attended the 2022 AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award Gala Dinner on Tuesday and said it was great to see Mrs Bradshaw come all the way to Canberra for the national announcement of the 2022 winner and runner-up.

“It’s great someone in our region is getting the recognition they deserve for all the hard work they put into increasing the living conditions of those in rural Australia,” Mr Littleproud said.

“I thank Rebecca Bradshaw for helping so many people in Maranoa and caring about fellow Australians.”

The 2022 AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award Gala Dinner returned after a two-year absence, and in addition to the $15,000 Westpac grant already awarded to each State and Territory Winner, the National Winner and Runner Up of the Agrifuture’s Rural Women’s Award received a further $20,000 grant from Platinum Sponsor Westpac.
