Fostering Integration Grants program now open

The third round of the Fostering Integration Grants program is now open.

Member for Maranoa David Littleproud said the program was about supporting activities that celebrate and empower multicultural communities, deepen cross cultural understanding, and help to strengthen social cohesion.

“This is a great opportunity to show our support for multicultural communities and to bring our vibrant cultural and religious events and celebrations back to life as we emerge from the pandemic,” Mr Littleproud said.

There are two funding streams under the program:

  • Grants of between $15,000 and $100,000 will be available for projects that encourage greater integration and cross-cultural understanding, including cultural events and festivals.
  • Grants of between $20,000 and $100,000 will be available to support projects that enhance existing community spaces and amenities through fit outs, extensions or upgrades.

Applications close on 14 June 2022.
