Mobile service centre Blue Gum to visit Maranoa

February 24, 2021

The Mobile Service Centre Blue Gum will visit Maranoa communities to provide rural residents with greater access to government services and information.

Maranoa MP David Littleproud said the Mobile Service Centre would stop at Alpha, Blackall, Barcaldine, Aramac, Isisford and Winton over the coming weeks on its trip through regional Queensland.

“Blue Gum will provide tailored Centrelink, Medicare and Child Support assistance to Maranoa communities and ensure residents can continue to access the services they need in 2021,” Mr Littleproud said.

“I encourage anyone with Centrelink or Medicare questions to head down and talk to the staff aboard Blue Gum while it is in town – it’s a great way to find solutions to problems and stay informed about any changes.

“Staff on board Blue Gum can assist locals with Centrelink claims, Medicare registrations and online services, providing face-to-face service, information and support tailored to customers in our rural and regional communities.

“Mobile Service Centres like Blue Gum illustrate the Government’s commitment to ensuring Australians can access the support they need, no matter where they live.”
